A documentary exploring the importance of revival cinema and 35mm exhibition - seen through the lens of the patrons of the New Beverly Cinema - a unique and independent revival cinema in Los Angeles.
Starting as a labor of love, Out of Print grew into a force of a film, spearheading a movement towards a coexistence between film and digital theatrical exhibition. We were fortunate enough to find representatives at Kodak, Fotokem, and Panavision that saw the importance of this film, and they were able to hook us up with discounts on film, processing, and cameras. Without their generous contributions we would not have been able to tell the story of 35mm presentation on the medium we were praising.
